Chapter Membership
You must be an active member of National H.O.G. in order to be a chapter member. Spouses,
significant others, and children cannot become a chapter associate member without first
becoming a National H.O.G. associate member. To become a National H.O.G. full or
associate member, contact a chapter officer for an enrollment form, call
1-800-CLUB-HOG, or visit http://www.hog.com.
Chapter Dues
Chapter dues are $20.00 per year for a full member and $15.00 per year for an associate member.
Dues are due at the first of the year. You must be a member of the National HOG and
that membership must be current when you register for the local Chapter.
Your spouse or children are welcome as associate members; however, you
must add them as associates to your National membership first. Each member,
full or associate, will receive their own membership number from National
HOG along with a package of information, pins, and patches. Please provide
our local chapter with your National membership number(s) at the time you
enroll, or if you are a new National member, as soon as you receive your
number from National. There are pins, patches and T-shirts for our
local chapter available for sale by asking at the front counter of Rocket
Harley-Davidson, Inc.
Meeting Time
Our Chapter usually meets the second Saturday of each month. Meetings start at 10:00 AM and typically last 1 hour.
Various restaurants are kind enough to allow us to use their facilities for our meetings, and we ask when possible
that you support their establishments by purchasing a meal.
Meeting Location
The location may vary from month to month, depending on weather and any planned special activities.
The next meeting location is always announced in the Chapter newsletter. Perhaps you have a suggestion
for a meeting spot. If so, let us know. Although we are not always able to reserve the suggested locations,
we will check into it.

Newsletter
Our chapter newsletter is chocked full of information about the current goings
on and recent history of chapter activities. In addition, there is a calendar of upcoming events that keeps
us informed on what’s planned. Our newsletter is something we take great
pride in, and we urge all members to contribute to its content. We’re always
looking for one more article or picture to put in it, whether it’s an article
of fiction, or letting us know about your most recent weekend trip. Associate
members don’t receive a newsletter in an effort to hold down printing and
mailing costs. However, extra copies of the newsletter are usually available
at Rocket Harley-Davidson, Inc.
Chapter Pride
Our Chapter has a “Chapter Pride” contest at each of our monthly meetings.
It is intended to encourage attendance and encourage members to wear something
with our chapter name on it. A T-shirt or vest patch, or even a chapter pin is
all that is required. The pot starts at $10 and increases $10 each month, with
a maximum of $50, until someone wins. We then start all over again.
Chapter E-mail List
We have set up a private mailing list for members of the Rocket City H.O.G. Chapter.
You must be a chapter member in order to participate in the list. Any email request from non-members to join this group will be ignored!
